Job Overview: As a Local SEO Expert at ClickTecs, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective local search engine optimization strategies for a diverse range of clients, including single businesses and multi-location franchise businesses. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging your expertise to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance overall online visibility.

Responsibilities:

Local SEO Strategy Development: Create comprehensive local SEO strategies tailored to individual client needs, with a focus on optimizing Google My Business listings.
Working with Project Coordinators and Marketing Managers: Work closely with members of the team to develop a deep understanding of the client and their industry, and provide strategic recommendations to improve local search performance.
Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-converting keywords for local optimization efforts.
On-Page Optimization: Create and Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, headers, Image tags, internal linking and content optimization, to improve website rankings and user experience.
Google My Business Optimization: Manage and optimize Google My Business profiles for clients, ensuring accurate business information, engaging content, and positive customer interactions.
Local Link Building: Develop and execute effective local link-building strategies to enhance the authority and credibility of clients’ websites.
Local Citation Management: Ensure consistent and accurate business information across online directories, review sites, and other relevant platforms.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of local SEO campaigns. Prepare and present regular performance reports to clients.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay abreast of the latest developments in local SEO, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing trends to continuously improve strategies and tactics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a strong emphasis on Local SEO.
Proven track record of successful local SEO campaigns and Google My Business optimization.
Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and local search trends.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication in English
Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
