Job Overview: As a Remote Senior WordPress Full Stack Developer at ClickTecs, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of websites for our clients. Leveraging your extensive expertise in WordPress, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and technically robust websites. This role involves working on multiple projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading the technical aspects of website development.

Responsibilities:

Full Stack Development: Engage in both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across the entire website.
WordPress Expertise: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in WordPress development, theme customization, and plugin integration to meet project requirements.
Website Architecture: Design and implement scalable and efficient website architectures that align with client specifications and industry best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure successful project outcomes. Provide technical guidance and insights during project planning and execution.
Custom Theme Development: Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes to achieve unique and client-specific design goals.
Plugin Development and Integration: Create custom plugins as needed and integrate third-party plugins to enhance website functionality.
Performance Optimization: Implement optimization techniques to enhance website speed, performance, and overall user experience.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, error-free websites.
Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards, identify improvements, and share knowledge with the development team.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest developments in web technologies, WordPress updates, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
8+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
Proven experience in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile optimization.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
